I'm Amie, and I've been teaching for five years. For three of those years, I've served as a substitute teacher, and I taught language arts and ESL for the other two. My specialties as a tutor include ESL, writing, reading, and literature. I scored highly on the AP English exams myself, and I'm happy to help students with those as well. I love literature, and I love to read in my free time. I also really enjoy memoirs, especially ones that describe problems people had and how they overcame them. My other major interest is exercise.
