I love teaching math, and I've been doing it for the past two decades. I've been tutoring students in math during that time as well. I'm skilled at expanding complex ideas in ways that are easier to understand, I'm also patient enough to reteach concepts in multiple different ways until the student is comfortable with it. I want students to gain a full understanding of the subject, I will persist until students get there. I'm comfortable tutoring students in geometry, algebra, pre-algebra, middle school math, and other math subjects. In my free time, I enjoy digital scrapbooking and spending time with my family. I have one daughter studying finance at Florida State and another daughter studying applied math at the University of Iowa, where she is playing volleyball on an athletic scholarship. I guess the proclivities for math run in the family!
